Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Cyril Tools collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when the website is accessed, an account is created, an order is placed, support is contacted, or a website service is used.
Identity and scope
Cyril Tools is the business responsible for the personal information processed through this website. This policy applies to website visitors, account holders, customers, and individuals who contact Cyril Tools.

Information collected may include:
- Name, email address, and mobile phone number
- Account, authentication, email-verification, and mobile-verification information
- Shopping-cart, wishlist, saved-address, and account-preference information
- Billing and delivery address
- Order, payment-status, invoice, and transaction information

- Product reviews, Social comments, reactions, follows, and feedback submitted voluntarily
- Notification content, delivery state, read state, dismissal state, and related preferences
- Device, browser, operating system, IP address, security events, and basic usage information required for website operation and diagnostics
Only information reasonably required to provide a requested service, complete a transaction, secure the website, or meet a legal obligation is collected.
Purpose of processing
Personal information may be processed for:
- Account registration, identity verification, authentication, and management
- Purchase-limit enforcement, abuse prevention, and transaction security
- Order confirmation, payment verification, fulfilment, invoicing, shipping, and delivery
- Customer support and service communication
- Fraud prevention, abuse detection, and website security
- Website diagnostics, reliability, and usability improvements
- Accounting, taxation, auditing, dispute resolution, and legal compliance
- Responding to enquiries and lawful requests
Account information
Account information supports features such as order history, saved addresses, wishlists, and account settings. An account holder is responsible for protecting login credentials and reporting suspected unauthorised access.
Public content and Social activity
A product review or Social comment is intended for public display with the submitted public author name. An internal account identifier may be retained for eligibility checks, moderation, abuse prevention, and record integrity. A reaction may use a browser identifier so that a Like or Dislike can be recorded, changed, or removed without requiring a public profile.
Following Social content or receiving an account notification creates records required to deliver, display, mark, replace, or dismiss that notification. Individual notifications or all notifications can be marked as read or deleted through the account interface.
Service providers
Information may be shared with trusted service providers only where reasonably necessary for payment processing, hosting, authentication, order fulfilment, logistics, email delivery, analytics, security, accounting, or legal compliance. Each provider receives only the information required for the relevant service and operates under its applicable terms and privacy obligations.
Cyril Tools does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
Payments
Online payments are processed by authorised payment service providers. Complete card details, banking credentials, and UPI credentials are processed directly by the relevant provider and are not stored on Cyril Tools servers.
Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies and browser storage support login sessions, shopping-cart functionality, pending checkout recovery, wishlists, Social reactions, security, preferences, and cookie-notice acknowledgement. These essential technologies are not used by Cyril Tools to sell personal information or deliver third-party advertising.
Clearing browser data or using another browser or device may remove saved preferences.
External AI services
The optional product-advisor control prepares a prompt from information already displayed on the product page, copies that prompt to the browser clipboard, and opens a customer-selected external AI application or website. Any information submitted to that provider is handled under the provider's terms and privacy policy. Cyril Tools does not receive the resulting external conversation unless it is separately submitted through a Cyril Tools service.
Analytics and diagnostics
Technical information may be analysed to understand website performance, identify errors, improve usability, and maintain service reliability. Aggregated or non-identifying information is used wherever reasonably practical.
Information security
Reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed as completely secure.
Data retention
Personal information is retained only for the period reasonably required to complete transactions, provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or satisfy legal obligations. Information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised where reasonably practical.
Privacy rights and requests
Subject to applicable law, a person may request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of eligible information, withdrawal of consent where consent is the applicable basis, or clarification about processing. A privacy request or grievance may be submitted through the Contact page or sent to [email protected]. Identity verification may be required before eligible account or personal-information changes are completed.
Children's privacy
The website is not intentionally directed to children below the age required by applicable law to provide independent consent. Reasonable steps may be taken to remove information identified as having been collected from a child without appropriate authorisation.
Policy updates
This policy may be revised to reflect changes in website functionality, business operations, service providers, or legal requirements. The date above identifies the latest published revision.
